Prioritizing Roles and Understanding Job Statuses

When working on multiple roles on the juucy platform, it is important to know which opportunities to prioritize and how to interpret the job statuses displayed in the platform. Effective prioritization ensures that your efforts are focused where they are most impactful and aligned with client needs.

How to Prioritize Roles

Two main factors should guide your prioritization:

1. Job Status
Focus on roles where you have an allocated slot. If you are not yet assigned to a role, look for those marked as Open for Application, as these are available for you to join.

2. Applicant Pipeline
Always check the existing pipeline of applicants for each role. Roles with fewer than three to five applicants depending on how often the role needs to be placed, or an empty pipeline, are more urgent and require additional support. In contrast, roles with a strong pipeline (more than five active applicants) can be considered less urgent.

By considering both the job status and the pipeline strength, you can decide where your contribution adds the most value.

Explanation of Job Statuses

Juucy uses different job status labels to indicate the current state of a role. Understanding these helps you avoid wasted effort and align with client expectations:

  • Open for Application
The role is vacant, and you can apply to work on it. Additional recruiter support is highly welcome.
  • Active
The role is open and vacant, but enough recruiters are already working on it. You cannot apply to join this role.
  • Assigned
You have been assigned to this role, and it remains vacant. You are free to continue submitting candidates.
  • Paused
The role is temporarily on hold. Please refrain from working on it until further notice.
  • Please Stop Searching
The role is still active, but the company needs time to review the current pipeline. Do not submit further candidates for now and shift your focus to other roles.
  • Successfully Placed
The position has been filled. No further action is required.

Best Practice

Prioritize roles where:

  • You are assigned or the role is open for application.
  • The pipeline is empty or under three to five applicants.

This approach ensures that you work on the most urgent roles, contribute where your efforts are needed most, and improve your chances of successful placements.
