When you submit a candidate on juucy, our internal Quality Control (QC) team reviews the profile before it is shared with the client. Sometimes, a candidate may not meet all the must-have criteria and will be placed “in review.” This article explains:
Why we have Quality Control
What “in review” means
How to respond correctly
Common reasons for review
Best practices to maximize your candidate’s chances
Why Does juucy Have Quality Control?
We promise our clients a highly curated experience. One of the reasons they come to juucy because they are overwhelmed by unsuitable profiles from job boards. Our goal is to:
Only forward strongly matching candidates.
Save clients time and effort.
Maintain trust and high standards.
That's why every candidate is checked by our internal team before being sent to the client.
What Happens When a Candidate Is “In Review”?
When your candidate does not pass the initial QC check, they are put “in review.” You will receive a transactional email with:
The new candidate status: In Review
A message from the QC team explaining what is missing
Important: Please do not reply to the email but slide directly into the comment section of the candidate concerned!

How Should You React?
You should always respond via the comment section on the platform. Here's how to handle different situations:
Scenario 1: Your Candidate Does Meet the Criteria
The CV might not show it clearly, but you know your candidate has the required experience.
Action:
Add a comment on the platform with specific context (e.g. "He has 4 years of AWS experience – just not listed clearly in CV.")
Click Send – our team will re-review and likely forward the candidate.
Scenario 2: Your Candidate Does Not Meet the Criteria
Your candidate lacks the must-have skills or requirements.
Action:
Be transparent and let us know.
If the missing criteria are must-haves, the candidate will likely be rejected.
If they are nice-to-haves, make a case: “He lacks Kubernetes, but is a DevOps expert with similar tools and high learning agility.”
Tip: Show why the client should still consider your candidate!
Scenario 3: You’re Not Sure
You don’t know if the candidate meets the criteria.
Action:
Reach out to your candidate quickly.
Once clarified, return to the comment section and update us.
