Juucy Email Setup Guide for Talent Partners

How to use your @getjuucy.io address in Gmail, Apple Mail, or Outlook

Overview: How the Setup Works

To give you a professional and consistent sender identity, we provide each Talent Partner with a custom email address:
firstname.lastname@getjuucy.io

We use a separate domain - @getjuucy.io - in order to separate talent partner E-mails from our transactional E-Mails (i.a. @app.juucy.io) & juucy inhouse employees (i.a. @juucy.io). The domain @getjuucy.io automatically re-directs to our main domain @juucy.io.

However, we do not provide a traditional email inbox set up. Instead, the system is split like this:

📤 1) Sending Emails (SMTP via Mailgun)

  • You send messages using your own email app (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook)
  • Behind the scenes, Mailgun handles the delivery
  • You authenticate via SMTP (just like a real mailbox) - credentials are provided by juucy admins

📥 2) Receiving Emails (via Forwarding)

  • All incoming emails to your @getjuucy.io address are automatically forwarded to your private email (e.g. Gmail or Outlook)
  • NO set up is required for this step - this is done for you on our ends

🔐 Your Email Credentials (Provided by juucy admins)

We will provide you with your individual credentials with the following format.

Email: firstname.lastname@getjuucy.io

SMTP Server: smtp.eu.mailgun.org

Port: 587

Username: your full @getjuucy.io email address

Password: Provided securely (from the juucy team)

Encryption: TLS / STARTTLS

Overview: How to set this up (Set up only refers to sending E-Mails)

Option 1: Setup in Gmail (Browser)

  1. Go to Gmail → Settings (⚙) → See all settings
  2. Navigate to Accounts and Import
  3. Under “Send mail as”, click Add another email address
  4. Enter:
    • Name: Your full name
    • Email: your @getjuucy.io address
    • Uncheck: “Treat as an alias”
  5. On the SMTP screen:
    • SMTP Server: smtp.eu.mailgun.org
    • Port: 587
    • Username: your full @getjuucy.io email address
    • Password: provided by juucy admin
  6. Gmail will send a confirmation code to your private inbox → enter it and you’re done!

✅ You can now send from @getjuucy.io directly in Gmail.

Option 2: Setup in Apple Mail (macOS)

Apple Mail doesn’t natively support SMTP-only accounts, but here’s a working workaround:

  1. Add New Account
    Mail → Preferences → Accounts → “+” → “Other Mail Account…”
  2. Use Dummy IMAP Settings (they’ll fail – that’s ok)
    • Email: your full @getjuucy.io email address
    • Username: your full @getjuucy.io email address
    • Password: provided by juucy admin
    • IMAP Server: imap.invalid (or localhost)
    • SMTP Server: smtp.eu.mailgun.org
  3. When prompted, ignore incoming server errors
  4. After setup:
    • Go to Accounts → select your juucy account
    • Disable syncing of emails
    • Make sure only the SMTP server is active

✅ Done! You can now send from @getjuucy.io via Apple Mail.
