First Steps to Succeed on juucy

We’re very happy to have you on board and excited to see you start your journey as a Talent Partner! This guide will give you the orientation you need to get started fast, build confidence, and make your first placements.

1. Your Dashboard – The Control Center

The dashboard is where your journey begins. It gives you a clear overview of your performance, projects, and resources.

Key KPIs:

  • Interview Invite Ratio: How many of your submitted candidates are invited to interviews.
  • Hire-to-Interview Ratio: How many of those interviewed are actually hired.
  • Quality Control Ratio: How many candidates didn’t pass juucy’s quality control.

High ratios in the first two KPIs and a low ratio in the third show that you’re on the right track.

Pipeline:

Your pipeline shows your current financial potential.

  • Keep it moving to ensure steady results.
  • Focus on quality over quantity - clients value well-matched candidates more than high volume.

Assigned Roles

This section lists the roles you are currently working on.

  • Don’t rely on a single project - diversify your project portfolio.
  • Experienced recruiters typically manage 5–10 roles in parallel, which balances workload and increases placement chances.

Helpful Resources

At the bottom of the dashboard you’ll find key resources to help you succeed.

2. Finding the Right Jobs

In the Jobs Section you’ll discover all open positions on the platform. Use filters for job categories, companies, technologies, or locations to focus your search.

Pay close attention to job statuses:

Status Meaning What You Should Do
Open for Application The role is open and recruiters can apply. Slots are limited to protect candidate experience. Apply if it fits your expertise and capacity. Review briefing notes and indicate your weekly hours.
Active The role is still vacant, but all recruiter slots are currently taken. Monitor updates. Slots may reopen—until then, focus on other roles.
Assigned The role has been assigned to you (and possibly others). You are expected to work it actively. Start sourcing. Use briefing notes, ask in the job chat, and submit qualified candidates. If you can’t commit, resign the role transparently.
Please Stop Searching The client asked us to pause sourcing because they already have enough candidates. The search may resume if needed. Immediately stop outreach. Keep your notes. Watch for status updates and re-engage if it reopens.
Paused The role is temporarily on hold due to client-side reasons (e.g. hiring freeze or scope changes). Stop work on this role and shift focus to others. Check back after client updates.
Successfully Placed The role has been filled—either via juucy or another channel. Close out your work. Focus on new roles to keep your pipeline active.

Tip: Prioritize roles with few candidates in the pipeline. Fewer candidates means less competition and therefore a higher probability of success for your candidate.

3. Understanding Client Needs

Each role comes with detailed information to help you succeed:

  • Briefing Notes: Overview of the company, culture, contract, role requirements, and hiring process and much more.
  • Onboarding Videos: A recording of the Onboarding Session with the client that gives valuable insights about the clients culture and expectations.
  • Bounty & Fees: Your potential earnings based on annual gross salary + interview fees.

Feel free to use the shareable job landing pages when reaching out to candidates. Avoid sending internal job descriptions, as candidates could apply directly and bypass you.

4. Complete Your Profile First

Before you can apply for any role, make sure your juucy profile is complete. This includes:

  • A professional photo
  • Your job title and short bio
  • The job categories you focus on
  • Your recruiter stack (tools and channels you use)

Clients will see this profile, so treat it as your professional business card. Read here to understand how to set up your juucy profile professionally.

5. Applying to Roles

When you apply to a role:

  • Write one or two sentences on why you’re a good fit
  • Indicate the hours you want to commit
  • Submit your application and wait for feedback

If you can’t continue on a project later, simply resign transparently.

6. Working Together

Job Chat

Every role has a built-in chat. Use it to ask the client clarifying questions with regards to the job. This is the fastest way to get accurate answers and avoid guesswork.

Applicant Comments

The Comments section is your 1:1 chat with the hiring manager regarding one of your submitted candidates. Make use of it to clarify questions, collaborate or share feedback with regards to this applicant. Read here in order learn more about how to effectively use the comments section.

Market Feedback

If you face challenges filling a role, use the feedback function. Share how many candidates you contacted, their reactions, and any blockers you identified. This feedback isn’t sent to clients directly. Based on your market insights we can create market reports to consult our clients and help to optimize conditions, ease requirements and improve your chances of success.

7. Submitting Candidates

All uploaded candidates must be pre-qualified. Check out our guide to learn how to pre-qualify candidates effectively. After you did that, you will submit your first candidate at some point. Submitting a candidate is one of the most important steps.

To do so:

  1. Enter candidate details (name, email, title, salary expectations, availability, location).
  2. Add a LinkedIn or other profile link.
  3. Upload the CV (and certifications if available).
  4. Write a short assessment of the candidate. Be transparent, but highlight why they are a strong fit.

All candidates go through juucy’s quality control before being shared with the client. You’ll always be notified about updates. Find out more about the juucy Quality Control.
